Lack of sleep is one of the biggest frustrations for families with babies and young children. While some sleep deprivation comes with the territory…. often it does not have to be as bad, or last as long, as what some families experience.

In our years and years of serving families with newborns and infants, we know how to determine when a family is ready for a change, and when a baby is capable – and in need of – improving their sleep quality. One Moon Doula Director and Certified Sleep Coach, Kathryn Keener, has expanded the offerings of her team to include both virtual and in-home sleep coaching. What makes our process unique is that whether virtual or in-person, the support is live, in real time, and on call. This is because you need your sleep coach to tailor an approach to your family, and then to be there for all of the what-if’s and what-now’s that come up as you implement their recommendations!

Our Sleep Coaching Programs will help you:

  • Understand what you can expect at your baby’s age

  • Learn to trust your instincts and to trust your baby’s ability to adapt

  • Get clarity on how and when to respond to your baby based on their age and developmental stage

  • Support you in person and in real time - for every nap, bedtime, and night waking!

  • Get sleep and feel good about your baby’s improved sleep quality - rested parents and rested babies make for happier families!

  • I really appreciated how non-judgmental the doula was – whether it was breast/bottle feeding or sleep training ideas, she… never made me feel like my ideas were wrong and was always open to finding the solution that would work best for me and my daughter.

  • I feel like I have a better idea of how to share what I am willing to do. I also feel that the menu items idea was a cool way to show what support I can give.

    Doula Mentorship Participant 5
  • Being a part of a group going through the same career pursuit was very encouraging. Having guidance from experienced professionals was comforting and motivating. I felt very well taken care of and respected.

    Doula Mentorship Participant
  • It was really helpful hearing examples of how to address difficult interview questions. I also found information on how to present ourselves as qualified with little experience as very helpful.

    Doula Mentorship Participant 2
  • The doula was knowledgeable about specific details (breastfeeding, sleep safety) and big picture issues (like changing family roles). She offered incredible support, guidance, and education.
